- SHOOT THE BREEZE is a 1 to 4 player game that tempers strategy with the
- randomness of the roll of the dice. Four players play the game, but they
- don't all have to be human players. You can play against one, two or three
- computer players.
-
- In SHOOT THE BREEZE, you're called upon to use your mathematical skills
- as well as a little common sense to get the lowest possible score. You do
- this by eliminating the most flags. You have nine flags at the top of the
- screen, valued 1-9. When your turn comes around, you must lower the flag(s)
- that match the total of the dice you rolled. Your score will always be the
- sum of the remaining flags.
-
- EXAMPLE: Let's say I roll a 7. I might lower 1 and 6, 2 and 5, 3 and
- 4, or 7. Let's say I choose 3 and 4. My next roll is a 4. Now, since only
- 1 and 3 or 4 equals 4, I can't move because 3 and 4 are lowered and a number
- cannot be used once it's been lowered. You can only lower one flag if it
- equals the sum of the dice.
-
- On the screen are the flags and dice with a window at the bottom of the
- screen with instructions and scores. You can press I for instructions, DEL
- to go back (on the 2nd number only!), X to forfeit/exit your turn (no more
- moves), or Q to quit the whole game. If you decide to quit your turn or
- quit the game you'll be asked if you're sure. If you quit the game, you can
- play again with the same players, if you wish.
-
- After all turns are finished, a winner will be declared. Then you can
- play again with/without the same players. Have a good time and remember,
- this is one game where you don't want to be a flagwaver!
